hey gang,
Totally shattered today trying to get everything sorted with planning the new molac rant's episode, uni work, and everything else so ive just taken a few minutes to chill out and look at the news.
One of the top stories today is that Richard Branson made a bet with Tony Fernandes that his team would do better in the F1, so virgin went up against lotus and lost. This means that Richard Branson will be working as a Cabin Crew on the winners flight, now i'm not sure I would want to actually see Richard Branson in a skirt and heels but these millionaires will do silly things. I have no doubt it will be heavily covered by the media, least they are selling tickets on the flight for charity so someone will benefit but is this just another load of rubbish to try show virgin as a ethical happy company. It is hard to say with certainty but with the economic climate still not in the best position I can't really say either way, though lets be honest if I put on a dress and went on a air plane there is a good chance I would be arrested or just called a total nutter, Richard Branson does it and is hailed like some kind of hero.

Your computer has a virus......give me your bank details
Hey guys,
Well my new camera arrived today a Flip Mino HD, the quality is a vast improvement and the sound doesn't seem that bad either though I still need to have a little play to get it where I want it to be. Though on a very good point the seller put in a free mini tripod with the camera as well so I really appreciated that as it means I don't have to go out and buy one.
On the news front it seems sky news has only just caught on about the fact that hackers are using fake virus scan software to steal peoples details, I will take my hat off to these bastards using a fake anti virus software that comes up in a pop up window will probably take many people by surprise and in fear of viruses will click on these programs and put in card details to "save" there computer from the apparent virus in their system. Anyone that has been round the internet a while knows to ignore pop up's due to the fact that 99% of the time it's a virus after your bank details, but I have known these viruses to be on reputable sites before.
Why are they not doing anything about it especially on reputable sites as it damages the reputation of the website, surely the site would check what they are advertising before they put up the advertisement. I think the only thing that they can see in £ signs and are not looking towards the future of the site which is also their future income but are looking at the current profits.
Well that's my thought of the day...

Somali Pirates and easy pickings
Hey guys,
well I am on day two of my exciting new job at Sainsburys and to be honest im actully enjoying it, plenty of work to do no time to think and you just get your head down and have a laugh while you work. We will see what it's like when i'm on my proper department as I was on fresh today rather that clothing which is where im going to be, funny how going from a job where it was technical (engineering) to a simpler job where it's mostly common sense is a sigh of relief.
Has anyone read about this couple that has been released by somali pirates after over a year, apart from being a bit thin and stressed they weren't harmed at all during there stay with them. Now these people were taken while sailing there yacht, firstly if your rich enough to have a yacht surely your rich enough to afford common sense. Seriously have these people not heard of planning your route?, if a area has been known to have somali pirates in a normal person would steer clear but not these exciting go getters they decided that was the place to drop anchor.
In my opinion they deserved to get taken.
